Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born to an adored family of musicians. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the tutelage by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choruses. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is a frequent soloist for private events and parties and performs the traditional Latin American Music. Alongside being an instructor and performer in the local area and instructor, her passion for art and music has her active in a variety of projects. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to have the opportunity to be able to share her love for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes this can help younger generations continue the tradition.
